Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program

In partnership with Montana’s Department of Public Health and Human Services, Farm Connect coordinates Montana’s Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, which supplies approximately 1,600 seniors each year with $48 in coupons to be spent at local farms and farmers markets from June 1st to October 31st . Benefits can be used to purchase Montana grown fresh fruits, vegetables and raw honey, and are distributed by over 18 partner agencies across the state. Coupons can be spent with almost 200 farmers statewide, at over 30 farmers markets and farmstands.
